We leave in the morning so its the last full day here. The consensus was easy – back to the favorite beach. On our way, we took our leis out to Duke to continue the tradition.
Time for another boat ride, sis?
We had ice cream about every day here. From anyone that sold it. Even in Hello Kitty bowls.
Kayla pretty much declared that she wanted to live in Hawaii. So she became one with the sand and is now a permanent fixture on Waikiki beach.
Oh, she broke out. And was pretty proud of doing it. This kid had more sand in her diaper every day than there is on the beach.
Let’s finish the trip with Kayla in Hawaiian. Kayla had a great vacation. She is a beach baby. She was ready to roll every morning. She walked to the beach, got her gear out, and could play alone or with others for hours. Virtually making Kim look unnecessary in her mother role all day. She built 1000 things out of sand. She constantly was in or back out of the water even up to her chin. She was doing what the big girls did when she could. She enjoyed the time with the family…I think it was fun for her to have non-stop access to everyone with no excuses of work or school. Love you, Kayla.
